These Terms govern your use of the LociArc mobile and web app ("LociArc", "the Service"). By signing in you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

LociArc lets you save URLs, generates AI summaries / tags, and pushes a Daily Brief / Time Capsule via email or Telegram. The Service is provided as-is during the v1 launch — we may change features, limits and copy without prior notice.

2. Your account

You must be 13 or older (16 in the EEA).
You are responsible for the security of your login credentials.
You may not share an account between multiple humans.
One person may operate one account; bulk / scripted account creation is forbidden.

3. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to use LociArc to:

Save, summarise or distribute content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
Submit URLs whose only purpose is to make our backend fetch internal/private/loopback addresses (we block these via SSRF guard, but attempting it is grounds for account termination).
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or stress-test the API beyond the documented per-user quotas.
Use the Service to harass or impersonate any person.

4. Quotas and abuse limits

Each plan has a calendar-month save allowance and a daily AI-unit allowance (reset at 00:00 UTC), as published on the Pricing page. Free: 30 saves per month and 10 AI units per day, with no cap on total library size. Pro's 1,000 saves per month is a fair-use ceiling against abuse.

We reserve the right to throttle or temporarily suspend accounts that exceed published rate limits or appear to be automated.

5. AI summaries

AI summaries and tags are generated automatically and may be wrong, incomplete, or biased. You are responsible for verifying any material you rely on, especially for legal, medical or financial matters. Do not paste secrets (passwords, API keys, private keys) into URLs you save — the body of the page is forwarded to our AI provider for summarisation (see Privacy Policy).

6. Your content

You retain ownership of the URLs and notes you save. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to fetch, summarise, embed (vector), and store that content solely to operate your personal vault and deliver your briefs. We do not claim any other right.

7. Payments, yearly plans and tips

The mobile app is free; all paid plans are purchased on the website lociarc.com, not inside the app. Plans are sold yearly only (365 days); there are no monthly, lifetime or trial plans.

Vietnam (VietQR via SePay): a one-time payment for one year in VND. There is NO auto-renewal. We send renewal reminders by email/Telegram 14 days and 3 days before, and on the day your plan ends.
International (Dodo Payments): a yearly Pro card subscription in USD that renews every year. Dodo Payments acts as the merchant of record. You can cancel renewal at any time from the Dodo customer portal and keep access until the paid period ends.
Grace period and expiry: after your plan ends you keep its benefits for a 7-day grace period. The account then returns to Free; saved data is never deleted.
Renewing the same plan extends from your current end date. Upgrading from Student to Pro starts immediately; the remaining days of the old plan are converted at the ratio of the prices paid and added to the end of the new plan. You cannot downgrade while your current plan is active.
Early-supporter price: available for the number of spots and period published on the Pricing page. The price is kept for later renewals unless the order is refunded.
Refunds: within 7 days of payment, contact hello@lociarc.com for a refund by bank transfer; the account returns to Free. Payments are non-refundable after 7 days.
Voluntary tips:transfers with the content "UNGHO" are voluntary gifts, unlock no features or perks and are non-refundable except for proven mistaken transfers.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from inside the app (Profile → DANGER_ZONE → DELETE ACCOUNT). We can suspend or terminate your account for repeated abuse, fraudulent activity, or legal compulsion, with or without notice depending on severity.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI summaries will be accurate.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to USD 50 OR the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow this limitation; in those, the limitation applies only to the extent permitted.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Hà Nội, except where consumer-protection laws of your country grant you the right to a local forum.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced via email and an in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
